Goldwork is an AI consulting practice founded and based in the Sierra Nevada foothills of Northern California, working with businesses nationwide. We help small and mid-sized companies get hours back by building AI workspaces, agents, and automations that run on the tools they already pay for.

What we keep finding
Most owners we talk to aren’t short on data and they’re certainly not short on effort. They’re short on hours, and the hours disappear into the same three places every time.
Data nobody looks at. Exports, reports, and spreadsheets piling up, none of them answering a question anyone actually asked.
Follow-up that slips. The quote nobody chased. The customer who went quiet. The renewal that came and went.
The same thing, written again. The same email, the same post, the same answer to the same question, week after week.
None of that is a technology problem. It’s a workflow problem, and workflow problems are fixable.

What we believe
The goal was never fewer people.It’s getting the owner back to the work only they can do: the judgment calls, the relationships, the reason they started the business in the first place.
So we don’t sell AI as a substitute for anyone. We use it to clear the repetitive work that has been quietly eating the week, and hand the time back.

How we work
- Your tools first. Before we recommend anything new, we look at what you already own. Most of what we build runs on software you’re already paying for.
- Automation has to earn its place. Some work should be automated. Some should just be simplified and left alone. We’ll tell you which is which, including the times when the honest answer is “don’t.”
- We’d rather teach you than bill you. Training is included in every engagement, not sold as an add-on. The goal is a team that keeps improving the system after we’re gone.
- Plain language, fixed prices. No hourly billing, no jargon, no hype.

Who’s behind it
Goldwork was founded by technologist Mike Rappaport, who has spent twenty years in software doing one thing over and over: taking something complicated and making it usable for the person who actually has to run the business. AI is the first shift in that time that puts real capability within reach of a company of any size or technical comfort. This practice exists to make that practical rather than theoretical.
